Over the next 48 hours, weather permitting, the Baltimore City League championship game picture will start coming into focus.

Tuesday at Northwestern, No. 12 Forest Park takes on the Wildcats in a match of unbeatens (both 4-0) in Division II at 5:15 p.m. With no other team in the division posing a legitimate threat, this is a preview of the Division II championship game next month at Morgan State University.

In west Baltimore, No. 3 Dunbar will put its perfect record (13-0) on the line against defending City champ Edmondson at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday. Both teams are undefeated in Division I at 4-0.

The Red Storm’s only loss came against host Hedgeville (WV) in the finals of the Golds Gym Holiday Tournament. Friday, Edmondson visits No. 8 City College in a rematch of last year’s Class 2A North Region finals.

Wednesday evening at Morgan State University’s Hill Field House, No. 1 Patterson (12-1 overall, 4-0 Division I) takes on the Poets at 7 p.m. No. 11 Lake Clifton plays Digital Harbor in another Division I match at 5:15 p.m.

Tickets for the doubleheader at Morgan Wednesday are $5 at the door.
