Milford Mill Academy Millers

2018 record: 9-2 (Class 3A North Region semifinalist)

Overview: The Millers shared the Baltimore County Division I crown with Dundalk and Franklin before losing in the opening round of the 3A state postseason. Jordan Morant (running back/linebacker), a Baltimore Touchdown Club Super 22 pick, will anchor Milford Mill along with Khalil Scott (linebacker), Makai Booker (tight end/defensive line), Tyree Sheppard (wide receiver/defensive back) and junior quarterback Rishon Holmes.

Toughest 2019 opponent: Franklin. The Indians defeated Milford Mill in the 3A North Region semfinals en route to their third 3A state title in six seasons. The Reisterstown school returns quarterback Vernon Brown, Fordham University commit Mekai Felton (wide receiver/defensive back) and wide receiver/defensive back Xavier Cokley, who’s committed to James Madison.

Most intriguing 2019 opponent: New Town. The Titans reached the 2A state semifinals last season and should be Milford Mill’s biggest threat in the Baltimore County’s 2A league. UMASS commit Gerrell Johnson (wide receiver/linebacker) and defensive backs Darron and Darius Broach will lead New Town.

By a number: 31. Victories over past three seasons by Milford Mill.
