A big, four-run inning helped the Fallston Cougars past the Havre de Grace Warriors, Wednesday, as the Cougars added to a steady lead in a 7-2 softball win.

Jess Moore earned her second win of 2011, pitching six innings and allowing just two runs, but also performed well at the plate in her two-for-three performance.

Moore laced two doubles and drove in four runs, alongside Liz Deckelman’s two-for-three day while scoring a run and Brooke Alexander’s two-RBI double.

Jess Lee also scored twice for the Cougars, while Breanna Colella scored in her two-for-four day.

Fallston will grace the diamond again on Monday, taking on Bel Air, while Havre de Grace comes back Friday in a battle with Patterson Mill.
