Tori Luc, who assisted on a first half goal, pressured a South River defender, beat her to the ball and put away the game winner for Chesapeake-AA in double-overtime, as the Cougars defeated the Seahawks, 2-1, in Anne Arundel County girls soccer on Monday.

Luc was relentless in the attacking third, in the early going, and made a beautiful cross to the top of the six yard box, where Jessi Martz one timed the ball into the far right corner of the goal, staking Chesapeake to an early 1-0 lead.

With five minutes left in regulation Old Mill capitalized on a corner kick.  Ashley Davis came streaking through the box to put the Jenny Cislo corner kick past Chesapekae’s Casey Smith, to tie the gmae.  It was the only blemish for Smith, who played an outstanding game which included two unbelievable stops against Ali Cislo.
