Dulaney star guard elects to stay on East Coast

Dulaney High junior guard Ryan Conway, arguably the area’s top backcourt performer in the Class of 2021, has given a verbal commitment to Seton Hall University. Conway made the announcement in a video posted to his Twitter page Monday evening.

Conway, 5-foot-11, selected Seton Hall over Marquette, Providence, Rutgers, Stanford and Vanderbilt. Conway received an offer from the Big East Conference school in December. He reportedly took an unofficial visit in August 2018.

This past season, Conway averaged 27.3 points, 4.8 assists and 4.4 steals for Dulaney (16-6), earning a third consecutive All-Baltimore County first team selection. He has scored 1,481 points in three varsity seasons.

Conway is rated 125th nationally in the Class of 2021 by Rivals.com, and No. 132 by 247Sports.com. He’s 21st nationally among point guards by 247Sports, and 25th by Rivals.
