When Harford Tech’s Jamie Rappazzo (160) came out and stuck his C. Milton opponent in just 19 seconds, there was sure to be little doubt on how the rest of the dual meet would follow.
And follow the Cobras did, adding another eight pins and 12 victories to claim the win over the Mustangs, 70-9.
Helping record the nine fall on the night were Rappazzo, Dillon Brush (171), George Majchrak (189), Will Hughes (285), Nathan Haskell (103), Tyler Granese (119), Bret Blevins (125), Chase George (130) and Tim Torre (140).
Other Cobra wins included Joey Malanga, working a major decision at 145, Colin Riley, wrestling touch to an injury default at 152 and Mike Vega, getting a forfeit at 215.
C. Milton saw two wins on the night, with Jake DiMatta working a 5-3 decision at 135, and Mike Zito sticking his Tech opponent at 112.
The Mustangs will next face Baltimore Lutheran and Mount Carmel in a Friday tri-meet, Dec. 17, and the Cobras will head out west to take on Southern Garrett and Winters Mill in a very tough tri-meet, Saturday.
