Chesapeake-AA scored one goal in each half and played shutout defense, on Friday, as the Cougars traveled to North County to claim a 2-0 Anne Arundel County girls soccer victory.
Tori Luc paced the offense with a goal and an assist, with her score coming in the second half. In the first half, Luc assisted Ashley Reilly, who put Chesapeake on the scoreboard.
Casey Smith captained the defensive effort, as the goalkeeper made six saves. North County’s Mary Kogler made 20 saves in her team’s net.
Chesapeake was relentless on the offensive end, building a 34-5 advantage in shots.
