Matt Phillips scored a game-high 23 points, and Winfield Taylor contributed 10 points and eight rebounds as Chapelgate Christian Academy defeated Park School, 64-42, in a MIAA C Conference contest in Brooklandville Friday evening. In completing a regular season sweep, Chapelgate Christian Academy remained perfect in league play at 5-0 (13-5 overall).
Nate Frierson finished with seven points and five assists for Chapelgate which used a 21-4 second quarter to build a 29-11 halftime cushion. Mark Rothleither scored 18 points for Park (7-6, 4-2 MIAA C), and senior Rodney Hill had nine.
The Bruins host Beth T’filoh in league action Tuesday while Chapelgate has St. Peter & Paul in Ellicott City.
