The Centennial Eagles hit the mat running coming out of the new year, toppling Long Reach, Tuesday, 60-15.
Centennial gave up just three losses in the entire dual meet, claiming victories in the other 111 weightclasses and earning the 45-point team win.
Working five falls in the match, Eagles Mat Nickell (112), Macon Stanley (130), Sam Boulos (140), Joey Wysocki (152) and Ed Wysocki (215) all decked their opponents for six-point wins, and five other bouts were won by forfeit.
Long Reach pulled two wins on the night when Ronald Hindman pinned at 103 and Collan Freedman earned a decision at 135, and added a forfeit win at 145 to Matt Ellis for the 15-point total.
Centennial will next travel to Loyola to face the Dons, Jan. 5, while Long Reach prepares for battle in the District V Duals, Jan. 7.
