A leaky Catonsville offense righted the ship midway through the second quarter of its Saturday Baltimore County football battle with Chesapeake-BC, in Essex, and ignited to carry the Comets to a 35-6 victory.

Two early turnovers and a long scoring drive by Chesapeake (3-4) staked the Bayhawks to a 6-0 lead.  The Comets bounced back with 37-yard touchdown run from Jerome Williams to take the lead and they never looked back.

Catonsville (5-1) scored on a touchdown pass from Aaron Jones to Deniko Carter to take a 13-7 lead to the half and Turned stretched the advantage with a 29-yard scoring run early in the third quarter.  Carter also added a second touchdown reception.

Next up for the Comets is a huge test against Eastern Tech, at Catonsville on Friday.  Chesapeake will remain on the road and visit Patapsco on Saturday afternoon.
