Catonsville’s defense set the stage for Saturday’s 39-6 season ending rout of host Towson, with a relentless effort, forcing the Generals to fumble seven times and turn the ball over five times.

Three of those turnovers resulted in touchdown drives for Catonsville, which improved to 7-2 and played their way into the state playoffs.

Catonsville quarterback Aaron Jones threw for a pair of touchdowns and fullback Tyler Weedon rushed for two more scores to pace the offense.

It was a disappointing finish for Towson, but a winning season none the less, as the Generals finished at 6-4.
