Outlook:  Getting into the Class 3A North playoffs was easy for undefeated North Harford but not so much for Catonsville.  The Comets had to win last week or miss the postseason, luckily for them; they handled Towson, 39-6.

Catonsville, which returns to the playoffs for the first time since 2007, jumped out to a 20-0 first half lead and coasting to the win.  RB Tyler Weedon scored two touchdowns and junior quarterback Aaron Jones threw a pair of touchdown passes, one to Julian Jones and the other to Deniko Carter.

This season, the Hawks have won the close games, like a one-point victory over Fallston in UCBAC action, and the blowouts.  North Harford shutout Elkton, 27-0, last week to complete the perfect regular season.  RB Ben Kenley and WRs Jalen Shaw and Josh Welsh all scored a touchdown and K Tyler Lenane hit two field goals and went 3-for-3 in extra points.

The winner moves on to face either No. 5 Hereford or Franklin in the Class 3A North title game next week.
