Perry Hall Gators
2017 record: 8-3 (Class 4A North Region semifinalist)
2017 review: The Gators finished second in the Baltimore County Division I league before falling in the 4A North playoffs. The Baltimore County school has more than 36 letter winners back for 2018, led by consensus all-county defensive back Josh Addo.
2018 opponents’ win/loss record (from 2017): 52-53 (.495)
Toughest 2018 opponent: Milford Mill Academy. The Millers won the Baltimore County Division I crown en route to the Class 3A state final. The Washington Avenue school returns three of the league's best players in returner/defensive back Desmond Shell, linebacker Kevin Neal and linemen Darius Woods.
Most intriguing 2018 opponent: Franklin. The Indians were dethroned as Baltimore County Division I champs and failed to advance out the region semifinals (lost in 3A North semifinals) for the first time since 2011. The Baltimore County school look to regain its place with nearly two dozen letter winners scheduled back, led by all-league linebacker Jay Thompson, senior quarterback Emmett Avery and Villanova University commit Elijah Solomon (running back/linebacker).
By a number: 146. Points allowed by Perry Hall in its three losses last season.
