Overlea Falcons

2017 record: 7-4 (Class 1A North Region semifinalist)

2017 review: The Falcons tied for second in the Baltimore County Division II league before forfeiting victory in the 1A North playoffs. The Baltimore County school will have back one of the league's top players in senior cornerback/athlete Jairus Cannon.

2018 opponents’ win/loss record (from 2017): 46-56 (.451)

Toughest 2018 opponent: Chesapeake-Baltimore County. The Bayhawks won the Baltimore County Division II title last year and reached for the first time sine 2011. Damein Coleman, a consensus all-league defensive back, senior quarterback Daniel Meredith and senior linemen Lance Askins, are among the key returning letter winners in 2018.

Most intriguing 2018 opponent: Hereford. The Bulls  reached the 2A North Region final last fall. Seniors Josh Aribamu (running back) and linemen James Crane, Sean Roeper, Zach Barnard and Jack Marshall are among the returnees in 2018.

By a number: 11. Point differential in Overlea's two league losses last year.
