No. 15 Wildcats ace strikes out 16 in seven inning performance
Carver Center A&T junior Mallory Cooper was virtually untouchable, Monday, twirling a complete-game no-hitter in the leading the Wildcats to a 7-0 victory over Sparrows Point in Baltimore County softball action.
In working all seven innings, Cooper struck out 16 batters, while walking four. She also had a big day at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and two runs scored.
Carver scored one in the first and, with the way Cooper was pitching, put the game away with four runs in the second. The Wildcats finished with 10 hits.
