In a closely contested race, in perfect conditions at Herring Run Park, Calvert Hall defeated Archbishop Curley, 26-32, in MIAA A Conference cross country, Tuesday.
Iain Tartal covered the 3.05 mile course in 16:58 to lead the Cardinals and take the individual victory. He was followed by teammate AJ Valletta, who ran second with a time of 17:02.
Curley was paced by Alex Waldt, who ran third with a time of 17:07.
