The 2008 season was one to forget for the proud soccer program at Calvert Hall, as a lack of scoring led to the program missing the MIAA A Conference playoffs for the first time ever.
Last fall, however, head coach Andy Moore’s squad was right back in the forefront, finishing second in the regular season and missing a trip to the MIAA A Conference championship game following a semifinal loss to eventual champion Mount St. Joseph, on penalty kicks.
Moore his troops hope to complete the next step in 2010 as they are certain a contender in a conference which remains daunting, but is more wide open than it has been in some time.
