Sophomore Stephen Kelly went 12-for-12 on face-offs, while six of his teammates scored at least two goals each, as Calvert Hall registered its third straight blowout victory to start the 2011 lacrosse season with a 17-4 home win over Hill School (PA).
Kelton Black led a very balanced scoring attack for the Cardinals (3-0) with three goals. Patrick Kelly, Carter Brown, John Kelly, Brian Bolewicki and Reece Bartell all scored two goals.
Stephen Kelly added a single goal of his own, while Ryan Brown, Matt Diehl and Tom Hollenback also had one goal each.
In addition to his two scores, Patrick Kelly assisted on five other goals to finish with a seven point day. Joel Linkous pitched in with a pair of assiss, while Carter Brown, Bret Pearce and Dave McBrien all had one helper each.
Four different Cardinals saw action in the nets, with Brian Rasinksi, Jack Brust, Dimitri Pecunes and AJ Schilling combining for seven saves.
