The more top-ranked Calvert Hall plays the more it shows why they are among the nation’s elite

Friday afternoon at The Hall, the Cardinals hosted previously undefeated Gilman (3-1) and thumped the Greyhounds right out of Towson with an 8-1 victory.
The Cardinals (5-0-1_, who outshot Gilman 22-6, built a 3-1 first half lead and then turned up the heat in the second half as the entire roster got involved.
Ryan Belal led the way with a hat-trick and Rich Monath scored twice. In addition, Cody Angelini had a goal and two assists, while Tyler Flynn and Ryan Henneman each had one goal and one assist. Also adding assists were Ben Madore and David Peters.
