Matt Bosse had three hits and four RBI’s to lead Calvert Hall to a 15-4 MIAA non-conference baseball win over Our Lady of Mount Carmel, on Wednesday, at Carlo Crispino Stadium.
Left-fielder Justin Fratantuono had two hits and three RBI and catcher Alex Murphy had two hits and an RBI as the Hall drubbed four Cougar pitchers for 12 hits in six innings.
Alex Pastorius and Colin Gimblet each had two hits, and Dan Hicks had two RBI for the Hall.
Five different Calvert Hall pitchers held Mount Carmel to four hits. Ian Arcigga had two hits and two RBI for the Cougars.
Mount Carmel took a 2-0 lead in the top of the third when Arcigga singled in Zach Pugh, and PJ Williams drove in Bobby Sansone on a sac fly.
The Hall tied it in the home half of the inning on a Bosse single and a Spencer Sutton double.. The Cardinals got five runs in the fourth, keyed by a two run triple by Fratantuono, and they scored seven times in the sixth when they batted around. Bosse had two hits in the sixth frame.
It was the fourth win in a row for the Hall without a loss.
