Extra Point Productions has announced plans for its second annual I-95 Kickoff Classic, which will take place on Labor Day weekend with games at Bowie State University and Morgan State University.
This year’s event has expanded from five to games to eight and diversified from a field that included 10 private schools in 2010 to a field that includes eight public schools, seven private institutions and one charter school.
The three-day event will begin on Thursday, Sept. 1, 2011 and continue on September 2 & 3. The highlight will come on opening day as Calvert Hall (Baltimore) faces St. John’s (Washington, D.C.) at 7:30 p.m. This will be the first-ever night game held in Bowie State University’s history.
A press conference will be held on Friday, April 6 to announce a detailed itinerary for the event, including a full listing of match-ups and participating teams.
