Both Aberdeen and host C. Milton Wright entered Thursday’s UCBAC Chesapeake Division football battle looking for their first win in 2010. The visiting Eagles managed to win the first half, but the Mustangs stormed from behind in the second half to claim a 25-14 victory.
Kyle Swearingen and Michael Kelly each rushed for first half scores to stake Aberdeen (0-7, 0-4) to a 14-11 lead at the intermission, but Wright’s Colt Hancock delighted a Homecoming crowd with a pair of second half touchdowns to rally the Mustangs (1-6, 1-3).
In the first half, C. Milton Wright also got a seven yard touchdown pass from Bryce Monroe to Wes Laguerre and a field goal from Deric Bryant.
