Caroline Butler triggered the Mount de Sales offense with a pair of assists and three different Sailors netted goals as they traveled to Ellicott City and downed Glenelg Country, 3-1, in IAAM field hockey on Friday.
Mount de Sales took a 2-0 first half lead as Butler assisted Kayley Jones and Julianna Shearer scored unassisted. In the second half, Amanda Igancio scored the final Sailor goal, assisted by again by Butler.
Samantha Weinstein scored the game’s only goal for the host Dragons and she was assisted by Claire McAuliffe.
