Adrienne Gebele had two hits including a home run and sophomore Jordan Thompson had two hits and an RBI, leading No. 6 Broadneck High to a 10-4 decision over No. 4 Glen Burnie in an Anne Arundel County softball game Monday afternoon. Kristina Dillard had a RBI double and Bekah Kiser and Nikole Blackwell each drove in a run.

The Cape St. Claire school (3-1 overall and Anne Arundel) blew it open in the third inning, scoring four runs to build a 6-0 lead before the Gophers (3-1, 3-1 Anne Arundel) scored their first run in the home half of the third. Kiser got the win on the mound for Broadneck.

Senior Shelby Smith and freshman Jessica Robinson homered for Glen Burnie, and Cara Woods and Caitlyn Kirby each had two hits. The Gophers travels to Southern Tuesday before taking on No. 1 Chesapeake-Anne Arundel Friday in Pasadena.

Broadneck hosts No. 20 Northeast Tuesday.
