Indians rout Towson, 37-8, in Baltimore County action

The Franklin football team won its fifth consecutive game, Saturday afternoon, going on the road to rout Towson, 37-8, in Baltimore County action.

Senior quarterback Vernon Brown had a big afternoon, completing 9-of-13 passes for 261 yards and five touchdowns. Von Reames hauled in two of the TD tosses, while Anthony Morante, Kennedy Fauntleroy and Mekai Felton had one each.

Ahmad Mosely made a tackle in the end zone for a safety to account for Franklin’s other two points. DJ Frazies led the defense with nine tackles including one for loss.

Damon Moore scored the only touchdown of the day for Towson, on a 10-yard run in the fourth quarter.
