Corey Johnson’s second half goal was all Broadneck High needed as the No. 4 Bruins posted a 1-0 decision over Northeast in an Anne Arundel County boys’ soccer contest Thursday.
Ben Campbell provided the assist for Johnson’s score. The victory lifts Broadneck to a 5-1 overall mark including four shutout decisions. Cody Neidermeier wasn’t threatened on goal.
Josh Meekins made seven saves for Northeast, which next plays Tuesday against South River. Broadneck travels to Southern-Anne Arundel Tuesday.
