Erbe scores two goals for the Bruins


Crofton gave No. 15 Broadneck a bit of battle, Tuesday night, but the visiting Bruins scored two second half goals to break a 2-2 tie and claim a 4-2 Anne Arundel County boys soccer league victory.

Riley Erbe scored twice to lead Broadneck and Will Donahue and Jeremiah Rodriguez scored the other goals. Rodriguez also had an assist as did Zach Tettemer and Mikey Johnson.

Donik Elshani netted both Crofton goals and Drew Gentile assisted on one.

In the nets, Broadneck’s Matt Tettemer registered 4 saves and Crofton’s Nick Versis stopped 8 shots.

Broadneck is now 4-1 overall and 2-0 in Anne Arundel County, while Cardinals fell to 3-3 overall and 1-3 in the league.
