Ehrlich throws for three scores in the Bruins’ 42-0 win over Glen Burnie

Broadneck, which opened the season at 0-2 for the first time in more than a decade, got into the win column for the first time in 2019, Friday, with a 42-0 Anne Arundel County road victory at Glen Burnie.

Sophomore quarterback Josh Ehrlich had a big night, throwing for 272 yards and three touchdowns and rushing for another.

Davion White got the Bruins on the board in the opening quarter with a 5-yard touchdown run and Ehrlich followed with a 1-yard run. Ehrlich’s first TD pass of the night came on the final play of the opening quarter and it was a 10-yard toss to Kyle Pierce.

Midway through the second quarter it was Ehrlich and Pierce again, this time for a 28-yard touchdown throw and Andre Woods, Jr. added a 2-yard TD run to send the Bruins to the half with a 35-0 lead.

The entire second half was played under a running clock. Ehrlich completed his big night with a 19-yard touchdown pass to Andrew Rose, in the third quarter, to cap the scoring.

Pierce finished with 95 yards receiving on seven catches. Woods rushed for 40 yards and caught four balls for 77 yards. Rose also made four catches for 47 yards.

Mason Stidwell, Brendan Kennedy and Jack Murphy each came up with an interception for the Broadneck defense, while Thomas Coble was credited with 2-1/2 tackles for loss.
