In match-up of Anne Arundel County 4A rivals, Broadneck moved forward in the boys’ soccer regional playoffs with a 2-0 win over visiting South River, Thursday evening.
Nate Webster scored the opening goal of the night, with an assist from Corey Johnson. Johnson then scored later in the opening half, with a feed from Even Camm and the Bruin defense did the rest.
Cody Niedermeier finished with four shutouts for Broadneck.
