The Bel Air Bobcats wrapped-up a couple girls’ lacrosse wins last week, downing the North Carroll Panthers on Wednesday, 9-1, and the North East Indians on Friday, 17-6.
Kathryn Merrick led the Bobcats in scoring during both games, lacing three scores against North Carroll and four against the Indians, with teammate Haley Krause matching the scoring efforts against the Panthers with another three goals.
Taylor Klunk helped in the scoring on Wednesday, adding a goal while assisting in four others, and posted two goals in the Friday match-up with three more assists.
Other goal scorers in Friday’s game included Krause, Cassidy Jones, Brooke Lorber, Sam Williams, Dani Wilson and Maddie Eurice, while Jordan Hammond applied two goals against North Carroll.
Karley Bush was the leading scorer for the Indian, Friday, lacing two alongside Katie Spence, Rachel Clewer, Taylor Murphy and Karley Spence. Kara Leffew made 13 saves in the goal.
The Bobcats next take the field on Tuesday when taking on Perry Hall.
