The Bel Air Bobcats rallied for six runs in the final two innings of their game, Monday, coming back to beat the North East Indians, 8-7.
Trailing as early as the first inning, the Bobcats allowed one run in the first and were able to claim a one-run lead with the help of a two-run fourth, only to see the game tied in the fifth by an Indian run.
North East again took the lead after posting five runs in the final two innings, a lead that would be caught midway through the seventh and surpassed with Bel Air’s eighth and final run.
Bel Air’s Stout pitched one and one-third of an inning to earn the win, finishing the five and two-thirds inning performance by Norcorss in his no decision. Stout and Norcorss each added doubles from the plate.
Bel Air’s next game comes against Harford Tech, Tuesday, while North East prepares for Harford Tech on April 18.
