A number of Baltimore-area teams headed north this weekend to take part in the Aberdeen Golden Eagle Duals, but it was local UCBAC team Bel Air who ended up taking top honors in the tournament.
After going a perfect 4-0 on Friday, the Bobcats came back Saturday and won another three dual meets, beating Springbrook in the finals, 38-34, for the tournament win.
Other Baltimore-area teams preformed admirably in the tournament, as Marriotts Ridge of Howard County won their consolation finals match over North Hagerstown, 36-32, and Fallston and Annapolis battled to a 42-33 Cougar win for fifth place.
