The Bel Air Bobcats have started there 2011 boys’ lacrosse season a perfect 2-0, notching wins over North Carroll and Aberdeen in the past week.

The Bobcats opened their new stadium with a 14-9 victory over the North Carroll Panthers, being led by Carson Kalama and his four-goal, three-assist day, alongside Justin Gayo’s three goals and four assists.

Parker Jones tapped into the scoring with two goals and two assist, scoring the first Bobcat goal in the new stadium, while he and Danny Rew dominated the face-offs to help the Cats possess the ball throughout the game.

Ben Richards stodd strong in the Bobcat goal by making 14 saves.

Bel Air continued its winning ways with a 23-0 obliteration of the  Aberdeen Eagles for the team’s second win of the year.

Gayo led all scorers with four goals and five assists, while Tucker Lurie had four goals and four assists to Kalama’s four goals and three assists.  

Richards mad another five saves between the pipes, sharing time with Ben Scanga and his four-save night.

Bel Air’s next game will come against Edgewood, Friday, when the Bobcats head down Route 24 to take on the Rams.
