Coming out of halftime, McDonogh’s boys lacrosse team was sharp, as the Eagles outscored visiting Avon Old Farms 5-0 in the quarter to capture a 10-6 win over the New England power, on Tuesday in Owings Mills.

Kegan Michel led the offense with three goals while Kyle DeVinney and Conor Morgan had two each.  Tyler Frederick, Evan Glaser and and William Hauver also scored for the Eagles, while Brady Faby added a pair of assists.

McDonogh also got assists from Glaser, Hauver and Michel, while junior goalie Ben Falcone stopped 10 shots.

At the end of two quarters, McDonogh led 4-3, before charging out to a 9-3 advantage heading into the final quarter.
