Hawks dominate on defense as they gain their third win of the season

North Harford limited host Patterson Mill to just a pair of goals in each half and the Hawks broke out for eight scores in the second half, Monday, to pull away for a 13-4 UCBAC Chesapeake boys lacrosse victory over the Huskies.

Senior midfielder Matthew Biederman led the offense with three goals and three assists. The Hawks (3-2 overall, 3-2 UCBAC Ches. Div.) also got a hat-trick from Owen Smith, who added an assist. In addition, three Hawks — Dylan Jablon, Derek Caiazzo and Wyatt Ralph — each reached the back of the goal twice. Also of note, Mike Rote dished out two assists.

Kevin Shao was the only multi-point scorer for Patterson Mill (1-3, 1-2) as he had one goal and one assist. The Huskies also got a 20 save performance from goalkeeper Ethan Kroll.
