Bobcats will host No. 9 Rising Sun on Tuesday to determine UCBAC crown

It was a grueling five set volleyball affair, Tuesday at No. 10 Bel Air, as the Bobcats outlasted No. 17 Perryville for a shot at UCBAC title.

The Bobcats clawed their way to a 25-20, 25-27, 17-25, 25-16, 15-11 decision in what was a roller coaster ride all night long, featuring multiple lead changes and each team fighting back in dramatic fashion.

Leading the Bel Air (11-1) attack was senior Brooke Myers (6 kills, 1 block), sophomore Maddie Reagan (6 kills, 1 ace), junior McKenna Reiswig (7 kills), junior Olivia Simon (4 aces, 11 assists, 2 digs, 2 kills, 5 blocks), senior Radhika Patel (6 digs, 3 aces) and junior Sarah Markland (1 ace, 11 assists).

Other key contributors were senior Megan Hoy (2 kills, 1 block), senior Erin Kenney (2 blocks, 1 dig), and freshman Lexi Couch (3 blocks).

The Bobcat’s next contest is a home match is Tuesday against the No. 9 Rising Sun, which will determine the UCBAC championship.
