Episcopal Academy handles No. 16 Bobcats in girls lacrosse


Penn State University bound-midfielder Olivia Dirks scored six goals and Caroline Burt finished with five goals and three assists as Pennsylvania’s Episcopal Academy defeated No. 16 Bel Air, 18-6, in a non-league girls lacrosse match Wednesday.

Devon Whitaker added a hat trick for Episcopal, which is the two-time reigning Inter-Academic League (Philadelphia area private league) champions. Maggi Hall tallied two goals and two assists for Bel Air.

Grace Wehland, Gabby Trzeciak , Addie Kalama, and Anna McQuay each added a goal for Bel Air.
