Cavin Murray scored 18 points and pulled down 11 rebounds, and Dezmon Hall and Sean Stein each added 15 as Bel Air rallied for a 58-47 victory over North East in an UCBAC Susquehanna Division opener Monday evening. Trailing 26-25 at halftime, North East opened the third quarter with a 10-2 run to gain its largest lead, 35-28.
The Bobcats (3-2 overall, 1-0 Susquehanna) turned their full court pressure up to regain lead at 38-37 at the end of the third before outscoring the Indians (2-1, 0-1 Susquehanna), 20-10, over the final eight minutes. Hall added five rebounds and four assists.
Alex Behnke tied Murray for game-high honors with 18 points for North East, and Garrett Irrgang chipped in 11.
