It was a neighborhood rivalry Thursday in Bel Air, as the host Bobocats and Fallston tangled in a 2A East Region boys soccer semifinal.
On a cool, wet evening, Bel Air punched its ticket into the region final with a 1-0, double-overtime victory.
Tony Proctor was the hero for Bel Air when he scored two minutes into the second OT. The wining sequence was initiated by Tyler Szekalski, who fired a shot that was blocked off the goal line by a Fallston defender, who got his chest in front of the ball. A second shot volleyed and blocked, but Procter cleaned up the rebound by placing the ball in the back of the net.
