North Harford running back Brandon Bayer has been selected to play in the 3rd annual Maryland Crab Bowl all-star football contest. He’s among 44 performers announced earlier this month by game organizers.
As a junior last season, Bayer rushed for 1,373 yards and 17 touchdowns, helping North Harford to the Class 3A state North Region playoffs. Bayer is among 22 area players chosen to the initial Crab Bowl roster.
The 44 performers were selected by the Maryland Football Coaches Association. The remainder of the roster will be selected next month. The game will take place Dec. 18 at Bowie State University.
