Senior wide receiver LaQuan Williams (Poly) had a one-handed, 24-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter. Williams also had three special teams tackles and a blocked punt. Freshman linebacker David Mackell (Edmondson) recorded three tackles.
Sophmore defensive back Eric Franklin (Archbishop Curley) and true freshman safety Matt Robinson (Atholton) each recorded a tackle and received significant playing time. Sophomore tight end Ryan Schlothauer (Eastern Tech) was a blocker on field goal and extra-point attempts.
Junior linebacker Nick Peterson (Broadneck) made four tackles and blocked a punt, while redshirt freshman offensive lineman Cody Blue (Wilde Lake) saw fourth quarter action.
On Wake Forest’s side of the ball, sophomore wide receiver Michael Campanaro (River Hill) had three receptions for 38 yards and returned three kickoffs for 54 yards. True freshman Kevin Johnson (River Hill) had three tackles. Junior linebacker Joey Ehrmann (Gilman) record two tackles.
