The family of Atholton senior baseball player Paul Beers has announced that the Raider catcher/pitcher has signed a national letter of intent to continue his baseball and academic career at Towson University, next year.
Beers was an All-Howard County selection at catcher in 2010 and has been pitching and catching for nearly 10 years.
In his most recent outing, he pitched a shut out as Atholton downed Franklin.
