Spalding and Liberty remain in top two spots; Severna Park moves into the Top 5
The 2019 field hockey post-season is nearly upon us, with the state playoff brackets having been released and the IAAM tournaments set to get underway next week.
The top two teams from last week — No. 1 Archbishop Spalding and No. 2 Liberty — remain in their positions. McDonogh and Garrison Forest each moved up one place, to No. 3 and No. 4, respectively, as did Severna Park, which won the Anne Arundel County title on Monday and moved up to No. 5 from No. 6.
No one left this week’s poll and no one new came on board, with very little movement across the board.
