Arundel High’s offense continued its early season assault on opposing Anne Arundel County defense Friday night. The No. 7 Wildcats defeated Northeast, 55-0, in Gambrills.

Senior quarterback Cooper Hibbs threw for 317 and five touchdowns for Arundel (2-0 overall and Anne Arundel County). Jack Gordon added another 169 yards in the air with two scoring passes.

Six players found the end zone as the Wildcats rolled up 627 yards against the Eagles (1-1, 1-1 Anne Arundel). In the first two weeks, Arundel has scored 97 points with 1,137 yards of offense.
Senior wide receiver Aaron Lewis-Cenales had three receptions for 148 yards and two touchdowns, and Matt Davis rushed for 105 yards and scored twice. Tyler Young (101 yards receiving), Ghiardi James, Don Keith and Ghiardi James caught touchdown passes.
James Rubush led the Wildcats’ defense with 4.5 tackles and two quarterback sacks. Jerod Hadlock, Lee Rogers, Andre Powell, Kwane Kumah, Devaughn Coley, Malik Treadwell and Demarcus Garrett each recorded a sack. Coley had an interception along with Andrew Roach.
