With a week remaining in the public high school football regular season, a host of area squads are jockeying for position for the new postseason. Milford Mill Academy took another step towards securing the top spot in the Class 2A North Region with a 73-0 victory over Lansdowne in a Thursday evening special in Baltimore County.

Jordan Morant, Keyshawn Silver and Kobe Roberts each scored two touchdowns for the Millers (7-1 overall). The Millers scored 39 points in the first quarter.

The 8th week of public play features key matchups in Anne Arundel and Carroll counties while the MIAA playoff picture looks to become clearer.
