The Patterson Mill Huskies added another win to their perfect 2011 season earlier this week, closing the book on the Edgewood Rams in five innings, 16-1.
Scoring 11 runs in just three innings of work, the Huskies were able to get pitching work in with Golczewski and England, splitting the game with four and three innings of work but combining for nine strikeouts and allowing just one run in the game’s fifth inning.
Zach Scheuerman led the Husky offense at the place with his three-for-five performance, driving in four runs and scoring twice while lacing a double, as Joe Roman included a double in his two-for-three day, notching three RBIs.
Luke Depasquale went perfect at the plate in his two-for-two day, scoring two runs while driving in just as many.
The Huskies racked-up 14 hits in the game, scoring multiple runs in all but the fourth inning, while Edgewood recorded just five hits and scored its lone run in the fifth.
