Junior guard Connor Lipinski scored a game-high 16 points to lead host Annapolis Area Christian to a 51-35 victory over Chapelgate Christian in the Maryland Christian School Tournament on Saturday night at Anne Arundel Community College.
Tyler Lewis added 11 points and Emmanuel Toney had nine for the Eagles, who won their second straight MCST title, both over the Yellowjackets.
Senior forward Winfield Taylor led Chapelgate (24-7) with 12 points. Matt Phillips and Chika Obi each added eight for the MIAA C Conference champions.
Annapolis Area fell behind 8-7 after the first quarter but rebounded with a strong second period, outscoring the Yellowjackets, 10-4, to open up a 17-12 halftime advantage.
The Eagles (23-10) never looked back in the second half and ended its season with a tournament win.
