After 100 minutes of soccer, a winner couldn’t be determined between the Friends School and host Annapolis Area Christian on Thursday.

Senior defender Max Zeger scored in the first half to give the Quakers a 1-0 halftime lead.

In the second half, the Eagles were able to tie the score when Danny Bryant found the back of the net to force overtime.

Neither of the even-matched teams could find that winning goal in the two overtimes and settled for the tie.

Friends sits atop the MIAA B Conference Red Division with a 7-1-1 overall and 5-1-1 league record.  Annapolis Area moved to 6-1-1 and 4-1-1 respectively, a half-game behind the Quakers.

Eagles goalie Bryan Butler was under fire all game, he made 17 saves including five in the overtime sessions to keep his team in the game.  Friends outshot Annapolis Area 18-6.
