Despite the loss of two senior leaders from last year’s team, the Geneva College (PA) volleyball program has a returning star in Glen Burnie’s Adriane Blake, who will be expect to assume more of a leadership roll now that she is a junior.
Blake is already a two-time NCCAA All-American and she led the President Athletic Conference with a 3.51 kills per game average in 2009. She was also among the team leaders in digs (3.34) and blocks (0.38).
“Adriane has continued to improve every year,” said Geneva co-coach Curt Cosner.
Blake was also an All-PAC selection for the Geneva softball team last spring.
