Jourdan Strickler, who would have been a junior at Annapolis Area Chrisitian School this year, has transferred to national high school basketball powerhouse Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, Va.

Stricklery was MVP of the AACS boys basketball team last winter as a sophomore.  He averaged 14.7 points per game, with 3.5 assists, two blocks, 7.1 rebounds and 2.3 steals.

Last year was named one of the top sophomore recruits in Maryland after an all-star performace at the Super 60 Showcase.

Oak Hill, which posted a record of 29-4 last year, is annually among the nation’s elite prep programs and it reloads each year with a steady stream of junior and senior transfers looking increase their exposure to college recruiters through Oak Hill’s national schedule.  Strickler is one of nine transfers on their way to Oak Hill for the 2010-2011 season.  The class includes five juniors and four seniors.
